Convert referenced model to local model?
Hello, Is there a way to convert Referenced models into local (not referenced) models? I have a referenced model. I want to do some modification on the model but it's not allowed because it is a referenced model. So, I want to make the referenced model "local" in the scene, without losing ...

Re: Great work done with Softimage
Haha, clothes are real thing. Only skin parts(heads, arms, legs) are CGI. Everything else in the human characters is real footage. We shot real human playing football. Then, camera tracking. Then, I replaced the skins with CG parts, with rotoscope, tracked, tracked, and tracked.....even more tracked...

Re: xPOP3
Hello rray, I'm writing a popup menu script using XPOP3.2. I want to use my own icons. But "LoadIcon" method does not seem to work. It returns a error saying "no such method/property supported." (in Japanese. See the pic) (SetIcon method works fine BTW.) Do you have any idea? Tha...

Re: pzLoopSelection?
Thank you very much, pezetko!!
Yeah, although I can do it by myself, that would be great to see the original writer's plugin version.pezetko wrote:It's script, not plugin but I can wrap it into plugin if you find it usefull.
If you have any question feel free to ask, I would like to help if I can.

Re: pzLoopSelection?
Ahhh, AceMastermind, sorry about that. My bad. Although I guess building a gui for jj_loopstep by myself is not that big hustle, I feel a bit better if I could make it from scratch. Very alpha version. (JScript) Step = 2; var SelStr = Selection.GetAsText(); SelStr = SelStr.replace( /\]/, ""...

Re: pzLoopSelection?
Thanks, Manny. Yes, I know those tools are capable of that. jj_loopstep is okay but lacks gui. RCTools seems to be the way to go. I don't know why I can not find "pzLoopSelection" now. Maybe wrong name.... but I still have my old XSI screenshot image and I can see a button named "pzLo...

pzLoopSelection?
Hello, Anybody knows old softimage script called "pzLoopSelection" ? This tool is for selecting components with every Nth step. I'm sure I was using this tool heavily 5 or 6 years ago, but I can not find the script file on my drive, nor on internet. Do you know where this tool is now? Thanks

New tool: AfterEffects to XSI
Hello, I'd like to share my AE to XSI plugin. It's a toolset of AE exporter and XSI importer. It brings animated layer(any type of layers would be ok including null objects in AE) transformation data from AE into XSI. Maybe you can track some points on a video and then get them into XSI as nulls, et...

Re: New viewport capture tool
Hi,
Ah, I didn't know that you've already introduced this tool here. Thanks.
By the way, I still don't have any bug reports/suggestions yet.
I'm wondering if it's even working or not on somebody's environment.
Feedback would be much appreciated.

New viewport capture tool
Hello, Recently I've posted this on XSI base, but I thought I'd like to share it on si-community too. It's viewport capture tool called "Capchan", basically re-organized UI for XSI's standard viewport capture with bunch of extra features. Download Page: http://homepage3.nifty.com/jjj/XSIFi...
