Is anyone using the fluids with Redshift, if so what is the procedure to do so.

thanks
Yes, just cache the volumes as vdbs and use the volume object in redshift to render them :)

Re: Happy X-Mas from Mootzoid

Dear Eric, thanks for all your support and efforts through out all those years. And thanks for offering all your plugins for free now! They were and still are so much help and a great addition to good old XSI! And it was so much fun to be part of it, bounce ideas in countless calls and chats. It was...

Re: forum issues?

Maybe an update to a newer version of PHPbb would help. Maybe someone could investigate the options..Hirazi already made that suggestion. I can just offer minimal time for this..

Re: forum issues?

Hey guys..!

The provider forced me to switch to an newer PHP version. So I changed it back to the oldest possible version 5.6. Do you have still issues? Anyway, the time for this forum seems to come sooner or later...technically.

Re: Mental Gymnastic in H

...yes same here, also with the overkill of icons, I don´t like that, too. I hide them most of the time. It should be possible to sort them somehow and bring them into some better order..somehow, diving into H´s UI stuff..but no time yet ;)

Re: Mental Gymnastic in H

Hey.:! Yes, the naming of things in Houdini is really, really a pain in the ass! They try to make it better, sure. That´s one of the reasons, its so hard to pick it up on your own. My way was to watch as many tuts as I could before even starting to build my own stuff. That really helps to get the ov...

Re: HOUDINI4SOFTIES: “Rigging a Cable Carrier in XSI and in H"

Hey Draise,
sure, in a way, but it is a bit unfair to campare time directly, because I did not in depth explain what the compounds do and how they work in the XSI setup. Setting up both is fast, if you know what you have to do. :D
And yes, I will try to do some more..any ideas around?

Cheers,
Oli

HOUDINI4SOFTIES: “Rigging a Cable Carrier in XSI and in H"

Hi there, this is a little walk trough of a setup I´ve build for a visualization project both in XSI and in Houdini using more a similar approach and more or less similar tools. Any comments and questions are welcome. If you have any suggestions for some further walk trough videos or tutorials, mayb...

Re: Maya 2018

Yes,that is a huge list. If you don´t fix bugs for years, this list gets longer and longer, doesn´t it. Its always possible to sell bugfixes as features. And if you add features, you can say, we added features and had no time to fix bugs..next time, the other way round ;) I wonder when the famous bi...
