Constraint to XZ pos only - Possible?

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to Constraint a null to an object's XZ position only? I would like to have the null unaffected by orientation, scale and y position.

thanks in advance...

Re: turbulize mesh - via weight maps ?

Another question would be how to control the Variance number once it's pluged in?

Hello,

Thank you for the time. So I ran into a problem where the Value of the Get Weight map node is Black and doesn't plug into the Scalar node

turbulize mesh - via weight maps ?

Hello,

I'm trying to achieve a look using turbulize mesh, but I'd like to break it up using weight maps - So certain areas are effected and others not.

So, we start with 40 particles and I'm simply animating the rate from 40 to 1000, through out the duration of the scene. They pop on, as yo...

Thank you

Would that hard edge, (edge weight) tranfer over to Softimage for rendering? Modo also touts Pixar Sub D... Would anybody know the ...

Re: creating a cluster of particles..

thanks for advice... I ended up using the spotty weight map idea, which i had thought of, but i figured the coagulate force would look much better. Can I ask another question then... How can I get the particle spheres to grow on top of each other. I have this scene where the particles must grow over...
