it looks really great, but i have a question
Can i use only one license to write the cache and use your operator to read the cache on all the renderfarm without additional license ?

not so easy to edit at 24 files per second !
seriously ascii is really slower than raw binary data, specially if you need topology data

obj is fine,
except it's an ascii file format so it's not very fast to read...
But if you provide a separate operator to read your own binary mesh format we could recompil for 6.5 and use the whole render farm...

hey! i don't think pc2 and mdd are well suited , because of the dynamic topology. The formats supporting this already : * obj sequence but it won't let you store custom data (such as motion vectors) but a custom op reading cache from disk would be better than nothing... * houdini bgeo but it's houdi...
