Re: mod tool 6.01 on windows 7
Apologies to double post but I figured I would share a fix for valve addon 6.02. This will fix the issues using rig from guide option when using mod tool 7.5. Replace the VBS script located at within the Addons\ValveSource\Application\Plugins\ directory. Download here.

UV scale question
Hello Does anyone know how to make planar UV projection retain the same scale for multiple polymeshes? For example I am wanting to have a wall texture spanning multiple polymeshes, but when I use planar UV projection it causes the wall to be different depending on the polymesh bounding box. I'd like...

Re: mod tool 6.01 on windows 7
The author description is the same as the original 'Softimage'. I don't feel like I've made enough changes to be credited. It's still just as buggy as it was with modtools.

No credit needed, I've done zero edits apart from updating the XSI SDK used. Please check the previous post I have updated it.

Re: mod tool 6.01 on windows 7
Hi The valve source addon will only work with 32-bit XSI versions, and the SMD and VMF dlls were compiled with XSI SDK 6.0 which is why those plugins fail. The last 32-bit release was XSI 2013. I have recompiled the valve source addon with the XSI 2013 SDK. I was unable to port it to x64 due to the ...

Re: Alternative Solution for Mixamo Autorigger
Unfortunately the myRig plugin is no longer available for download however xsi_fanatic has kindly provided me with a copy. I have rehosted it on archive.org for everybody here. It should work with XSI 2015 SP2.

Re: Help applying IK on null rig
Thanks to xsi_fanatic for guiding me through on skype. I found the myRig plugin to be very well made and offered a lot of control. I now understand constrains with XSI a lot better than before. You can view xsi_fanatic's videos in this thread . You can restore IK by using the null chains as a snap g...

Help applying IK on null rig
Hi. I have a model imported from a FBX file. The rig is made up of null joints and I'd like to know how to use IK much like when you draw a 2D skeleton. I'm new to softimage rigging and I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. I am using Softimage 2015 SP2.
Thank you,
Trea
