Check the Foam checkbox and insert a Foam scalar into a weight map, for example, and use it as a filter for particle generation. And if I use egnVector as velocity, I can create simple bubbles. I'm thinking something like that, but if anyone has a better way to use it, I'd like to know too! https://...

Is the model you are weighting parented to a null or something?
Try cutting off all parent-child attachments to the model and putting it out on the top level and running it.

Sycles manual, page 19-21, explains PrincipledHairBSDF in the Kristinka Hair sample.
The point is that it is a Strand, so Attributes and so on work without any problems.

Softimage has been non-destructive when modeling during shape animation since 4.0!

If you want to perform a local subdivision after setting up a shape animation, select BaseShape in the Shape Manager, apply a local subdivision, and then
Select Result in the Shape Manager and play it back!

Thank you Shekn for the update on Sycle. I did a render test of the same Scene. The render time in 1_11_1 was 2 hours, but in 1_12 it was 1 hour 23 minutes, And with the GPU on, it took 37 minutes! I don't have Arnold so I don't know the details.
If you follow the pictures, I think you can do without the UV.

Does it not reflect changes in gradient type like when you apply a gradient in Mental Ray?

Perhaps you're not changing the Scene Option to Cycles when you render?
It's the first item in the SToon_references pdf

Changing only the Region Option to Cycles will not result in a SToon.
