I think the main problem of blender is not working addons and plugins between old versions and newest (not for all) You working with many scripts and plugins and some day want to update but your hotkeys, preferences and plugins not work. And guys who wrote don`t update its.

I have menu motion tools a few time ago but now missing menu.

One very serious negative thing of Blender - try to work with over 1mln poly and have laggy like 1-2 fps. Solid shading realy laggy in blender

this policy of development of AD just help people migrate to other software xsibase don't work, where i can post problems and wishes for tools probably they add new tools only for personal use Just look at forums Modo, Cinema, Blender you get answers to any questions from developers. start learning ...

Maya have ipr mode for interactive progressive rendering with Mr and Vray. It`s great for shading.
We have great region tool and have`t Mray or Vray support for progressive. LW, Modo, Blender, Max, Maya have nice rendering system for interactive rendering. Softimage with Mr stuck in 2004 year.
