Re: new addon released: emTopolizer 1.0
Hi Adrencg, me again.
Er, sorry, I misunderstood your issue, I thought you were talking about the "Blur Vertex Data".
You cannot use weigth maps with emTopolizer, i.e. you cannot control the smoothing with data other than "per object".
Cheers,
Eric

Re: new addon released: emTopolizer 1.0
Hey Adrencg,
You need to copy the weight map values in some temp. ICE data, then you blur that ICE data and write it back to the weight map.
Just have a look at the following emTools demo scene, it's really simple:
"emTools.1.300__BlurVertexData_WeightMap.scn"
Cheers,
Eric

Re: new addon released: emTopolizer 1.0
Hey gang, An update of emTopolizer , emTools and also emPolygonizer4 is available. No "biggies", only a few little fixes and some additional little tools, especially in emTools. Here is a quick video tutorial in which I show the new stuff and talk about it a bit: [media]https://vimeo.com/5...

Re: SOFTIMAGE|UeberTage 2012 Videos
Thanks a lot, guys, much appreciated.
There is still a lot to do before I can call it a "releasable version", but I am confident to have a decent beta version ready by the end of this monh and - perhaps - a final version by the end of the year. I do not want to rush things.

Re: SOFTIMAGE|UeberTage 2012 Videos
the ICE setup looks a bit complicated That is only because you guys saw me dealing with the core compounds. The final version will have some ready-to-use setups, no worries! These setups will have a double purpose: 1.) they will allow people to quickly create some smoke, fire, etc. without needing ...

Re: new addon released: emTopolizer 1.0
I am eagerly awaiting for the day will see emFluids5 there I'm working on it! And hopefully Oliver (owei) will upload the Ubertage presentation some time next week (#). It does not cover all the emFluid5 things, but it should give you a pretty good overview of what the new emFluid5 is about. (#) he...

Re: new addon released: emTopolizer 1.0
I seems like most of the topo compounds (like capping holes, thickenizer, shatterizer etc) do stuff that can be done already in ICE (with much more effort of course). So are these normal compounds which ease the use of ICE modeling or are these compiled nodes which also work faster than the build i...

Hey there, I am happy to announce the release of a brand new addon: emTopolizer v.1.0 This time I did not have time to make a release video (unfortunately!), but there are four tutorial videos in which I demonstrate what the new tool can do and how it works. Tutorial 01 - Walk Through: [media]https:...
