Re: knit the strand
THANK YOU SO MUCH :) The strand-wizard strikes back ;) I´ll load and try everything tomorrow...especially the Mesh-Stuff now, that i understand how it should be used :) If everything works out, as i expect it to do, then i can hopefully present some furniture creations by the end of this month... I ...

Re: knit the strand
Thanks for your reply. I also think, that it is more of an adaptive sampling problem. I´ll try the solution with the mt_strand-Addon, that you have suggested. Let´s see, if can get everything to work as i want it to....i´m rather new to all this ICE-Stuff. I´m really looking forward to all the extra...

Re: knit the strand

Awesome work, that you show us here.
You got very much talent and i´m curious to see more of it. It´s great to see your progress. It would be nice to see more.

Re: Old Man
It´s a nice start, but i think the facial anatomy is quite off and should get more attention. The eyes are definitely opened to wide. Looks like he is shocked to death by something. Also the mouth looks really strange. I also really not sure, if the whole proportions are right. Here is a link, that ...

Re: White Border Issue
Maybe i got you wrong on this one...but i am not using any alpha of the AO-Pass right now. The Mask-Info comes from a specific Mask-Pass (Black-White)

Re: White Border Issue
Here are the passes and a Fusion-Comp The Comp is different from the one on the image, as i tried to incorporate your LWF-Hint...but it doesn´t make any differnce... http://rapidshare.com/files/282592316/Passes.rar I hope RS isn´t a problem. I had to use it as the file was larger then the allowed at...

White Border Issue
Hi there i got an anoying problem when compositing an image for a current project. Overlaying everything works like a charm, but when i tried to multiply my AO-Pass for a second time but with a mask to make the AO-Shadow on the ground more obvious, it gives me some neat white border around the maske...

Re: ICE Tutorial Requests
also a huge load of "thank you"s from my side.
And a request...What about an "how to make a grassland out of strands that can wave in the wind"?
That would involve an array of strands with dynamics connected to it. ;)
Again...thanks for the effort.

Re: Where do we go from here?
How? Put simply....you have to offer something they want. Everything in life is about giving and taking...mostly taking...so is it with this community. I think the ideas thrown in by Terry are really worth a try. We - and with 'we' i refer to us as a community to which i humbly would count myself - ...
