I forgot, some animation too: (I was a afraid to show this because "99% human" or the majority of work I see here, this is not)

some work done in XSI (note: some work contain nudity)
Hi, some of my work was WIP that I never completed, and some of it wont pass as finished work because the bar here is way to high for me. Anyway, I guess I want to show you guys what I did with this amazing software because 1) I will miss it and 2) Im still using it.

Re: Bitter sweet Siggraph
Thanks for the inputs guys, really! Of course I prefer Softimage, but given it's not a option, I shall return to what I'm more used to. Since we are talking about rigging and animation, Clovis Gay just release this tool for Max. Don't know about you guys, but this is awesome! :) [media]https://vime...

hehe you are right, its the excitement of the announcement. But, seeing the greyscallegorilla examples, It already does more than After Effects can handle.

Re: Enough trying to guess ... C4D R16 is here!
Okay ... first impressions from the videos. Although they have said in some interviews that they were catering for the VFX market, I guess not on this release. It's seems like a good upgrade, but for motion artists more than most. Still no improved texturing system, the solo button was a free plugi...

Re: Aixcademy "VFX with C4D"-Workshop
It looks very nice. I shared on facebook as well. Hope you guys can do this on demand on vimeo (as an example). I guess there's lots of C4D users that would like that. I asked on facebook, but maybe it got lost. Aside from Nitro plugins, is there another option for fracturing for C4D? I heard that ...

Re: Softimage EOL articles
I have used and remember: Shake, Combustion, Elastic Reality, Parallax Matador, SGI Explore (I believe this is today known as Maya). I know there are several others I dont quite remember, but every software reachs the end of line sooner of later. I know is hard to relearn everthing.. but... arent we...

Re: Is ICE the best way to learn the guts?
mmm perhaps you just want to keep using xsi like the rest of us, and are just looking for an excuse to do that. I can tell you my own story about it... since xsi died, what im doing is using it in conjuntion with species (amazing plugin) and zbrush to sculpt people in my spare time (obj import/expor...

Re: Is ICE the best way to learn the guts?
edit.. the cool thing about learning python or a programming language instead of the nodal interface, from my experience, is that you can translate your programming skills to maya, 3dsmax, houdini, c4d, photoshop, after effect, nuke, etc, etc, etc. and this is without even knowing the software too ...

Re: Is ICE the best way to learn the guts?
C4d does have interactive render region, with slider quality as in XSI. Further more, mograph effects are not for mograph only, as you can do a 'one-click' spring animation of anything (delay effect>spring), not just mograph text. In fact, the first ICE tutorial I have learned (get data > randomize ...

Re: Great work done with Softimage
The powerful message in this video pretty much applies to the situation of Autodesk and Softimage users. AND it was created in Softimage. Has anybody else noticed the irony of this video ? **Edit** sorry I just noticed Modo and Zbrush were involved. I find it ironic that the softimage ice crowd, wh...
