water simulation help!!!

Post by M3D » 13 Sep 2013, 20:01

hello guys
I have to create an animation of water, with Softimage (ice)
the water enters in a filt, simple, but ...
I can not fill all the spaces of the filter.
I tried with flow along curve, to create the course but the water flow stays the same (size, diameter).
I can not fill all the spaces,
the water must fill the entire filter.
can you help?
plugin, ice compound? ....
thanks

What are you currently using? Lagoa?
Could you show us some screenshots of your setup so far and especially your ICE Tree(s)?

I did a test with basic emission and flow along curve,
the flow of water, the diameter, is always the same, does not conform to the filter \ cylinder,
I do not know what to use, do not know well water ice particles for simulation,
I ask for help

What you're probably looking for is the "Emission Resolution" and the "Number of Points Created" described on this page of the documentation

ok, thanks, but my problem is not the number of points created,
the filter, has different diameters, the water must enter and expand, then shrink.
if I create a flow of water with lagoa (or basic emission) the flow is a unique diameter.
if I create a flow along curve, the diameter does not change, the water follows a path but does not expand as it should.

ok, use Lagoa, it seems to me the best solution,
only problem, I want to create flow along curve, but as I do with Lagoa??
help!
