Hello guys -
long time luker here.
Was wondering, how would you guys go around to simulate/animate a falling eyelash motion using dynamics/ICE?
Have no idea where to begin and would be important addition for a quick project.
Thanks in advance
Falling eyelash simulation
Re: Falling eyelash simulation
Hmhmhmm not an ice expert heh but, you can try simulate an ice cloth (a grid almost same shape as the eyelash), and then mimic somehow its movements?
You can use syflex
Do sim on a cloth as you like, you will get fine results on that, i believe.
Add all points in one cluster. name it for example mimic_this_pointcluster .
and then use Syflex mimic to mimic the motion on the new object. (eyelash base)
Then u can add geometry on that base.
Not sure of the outcome . *Did some tests kinda worked. but changes behavior by adding new geometry
