Softimage 2013 and Windows 8 Release Preview 64bit

Softimage seems to work OK in preliminary testing, with the very short time I have had to test it. This "Network" license version no longer loses its license when coming out of sleep mode like the Win 8 Consumer Preview did.

The viewport seems to be working OK with the default driver for my Geforce 460 GTX but its very early days and all I've done is load some scenes and rotate and move the view at this stage. I had problems with crashing using the nVidia driver with the Win 8 CP and so will stick to the default driver for a while.

UPDATE: I have had a "Pink Screen of Death" again like I did with the Win 8 Consumer Preview. Could be my refurbished graphics card though.

Rumour has it that Windows 8 is expected to be released around October.

Photoshop CS5 which wouldn't start on Win 8 CP now starts up correctly.
