Hi Guys
Currently having an issue parenting a model (emdl) to a group and including it as part of the export. I'm Using a group of objects as feathers and has to input into the point cloud as feathers on an object.
Would there be a way to do it?
Thanks
Exporting a group as part of a model
Re: Exporting a group as part of a model
Hello,
could it be that the group members aren't part of the model? In Softimage, groups don't contain the actual items but rather just reference the "real" items that could live anywhere in the scene. That way they could become lost be exporting/importing.

Re: Exporting a group as part of a model
Hi Im Currently using MB Feather tools as a plugin for this. The objects in the group are the master feathers that are instanced across the body of a bird. So its part of the ICE tree. The feathers themselves are under the model object but not the group. Whenever I try to add in the group it gives me an error.
Re: Exporting a group as part of a model
seems like to be ice instances who lost track of the group...
you could try to fixe this red nodes OR
try to merge your scene into a blank scene, this would create a model for you ;-)
