Hi all:
I have a weird issue and I'm not sure if it is a setting or a bug...My mesh suddenly started displaying RGB weight colours when I was rigging it, and setting the camera display properties for all cameras to use material colours didn't work...for only the user camera in ViewA. All other views and cameras are unaffected.
Is this a bug? Or have I missed something? Even deleting the weightmap cluster and envelope operators didn't work.

EDIT: never mind, I am an idiot. I missed the display property maps in the visib options of the viewport.
