Hi,
i recognized that the uv texture gets corrupted when converting a nurbs to mesh.
I had "Generated UVs" for the nurbs object, but can't yet use them back in the mesh object.
How is this done correctly ?

Create texture projection on Nurbs object, use ''UV" type. Transfer UVs to mesh with GATOR.
Btw if NURBS object is created by some parametric method like loft, revolve or so, in that case you can skip NURBS at all, just do the same with polymesh.

Hey Mathaeus, thanks for the tips, works perfect ! I now went by directly creating as polymesh
