libshiboken

Post by missingkey » 02 Feb 2014, 18:02

Hey All, I'm working on being able to use Qt(pyside) with softimage(linux), and I'm getting some errors.
ImportError: /usr/Softimage/Softimage_2014_SP2/Application/bin/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libshiboken-python2.7.so.1.1)
So I backedup the libstdc++.s0.6 symlink in Application/bin, and created a new symlink to my systems libstdc++.so.6, but now obviously Im getting different errors in SI, since that would have been too easy.
ImportError: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libshiboken-python2.7.so.1.1: undefined symbol: _PyTrash_thread_destroy_chain
So how now, do I fix this?

Thanks!

so after reading a few older threads on the mailing list, I'm starting to come to the conclusion that this isn't going to work.

Can anyone confirm that for me?
