Not entirely sure what you're looking for, but most laser scan equipment comes with software to load the pointcloud and export it to formats 3D apps understand.

I'm pretty sure Softimage + the Mootzoid tools can import some of the data exported.

Hope this makes sense.

An alternative would be to load the point cloud in MeshLab or Meshmixer and save the resulting mesh as an .obj file then load the file in Softimage. You can use any of these programs to create stl files and analyse the mesh to get them ready for 3D printing as well.

thank i'll try it too, i have to edit laserscan from racetrack to recreate buildings in the EXACT position. So if the the mesh is in some way good, is all right .

"Cloud Compare" (http://www.danielgm.net/cc/) does also help a lot for converting to different formats. Houdini has some LIDAR functionality built in by the way...
