Implosia FX - new ICE based shatter

I have released first version of my experimental shatter on ice.

The limitation of ICEmodeling to the modeling stack makes it impossible to create any form of collisionbased shatters with this right?

You are partially right. You can create a null-helper with sim-tree and process any calculations on points and then just put it to target polymesh.
I set the port's context on my nodes as per-object arrays, so you can try to build some dynamical shatter or something like it - there are no limitations exept ICE modeling stack and absence of RBD solver with the same port's context.

Interesting could you delve into a little more detail? Or is there maybe a sample scene I've overlooked?

I will try to make simple scene to describe what did i meant.

It is interesting task but currently I focused on implementation of image based cutting and iterative fragmentation like this Image
