Cool thing on TV Productions is, that we have more or less constant jobs with the same ppl.
Thats is giving us the daily bread. :D
Time is often quite short, sometimes anoying. But since we are using more and more Redshift only, we dont have to worry about render times anymore, gives some more freedom to test cooler things.
Sounds very cool altogether. Softimage + Redshift looks like a good match for this kind of work too. Keep us posted ,)

Just a note about my videos being down.

I was Vimeo pro and downgraded. They don't like it if you do that.
What they do, which I find outrageous, is threaten to delete a lot of your videos unless you stay pro. They are not deleted yet but are not on view,
After a lot of angry back and forth, I found out that I Upgrade to Vimeo plus and they will return. I will do that in the new year but I'm poor and out of work so I am not spending any money right now.

Hey Pooby,
thx for the info and good to hear from you! :)

Some of these big companies use all methods to get you back paying, at least a chance to save the videos would be fair.
But I am not in that thinking of the ecosystem of money, will never understand that, not my world!

Is there a way to support that?
Like FXDude said, some kinda fund or transfering by paypal.

Its such a big source of knowledge, would be a shame if vimeo deletes them.

cheers,
sant0s

Good to hear you intend to make them available again, hoping vimeo allows...

Your Fleshout service example video actually got some 100,000+ views in a very short time (quite remarkable especially on Vimeo), and hope that would bring you alot this year!

Also I wasn't kidding about creating a common fund for such things, (at least for video hosting, also for other things like paying developers to finish/release some of their things)

Happy to hear they are not gone for good, and the very best of luck in future endeavors, specially for someone as talented as yourself!

One more thing that I love to support since its very artist related is Patreon btw.
I am lateley using these service to some artists, podcasts, etc - feels very personal and its a nice meeting point for likeminded.
Combined with something like Discord to chat about the work let me as a freelancer feel like sitting in an office with other ppl :D
Just an idea.

btw, is there a Softimage Discord channel already?

edit: my avatar is made with your FUZZ @pooby :)
