Realtime shaders CGFX/HLSL

Hello

Are there any examples that show how to create custom real-time shaders.
For eg. shaders that utilize customized/precompiled/source cgfx/hlsl code (any code in that matter) with some explanation how/where/when to pass the transformation matrices, lights etc and the shader code.

Unfortunately, the “SimpleHWShader” example doesn’t explain too much.

Long time not eared from you. Where did you go after XSIBase went silent?

I’m sorry but, I haven’t noticed your post :) In short: different job, different things to do, but only when I have some free time, I’m still trying to do some stuff for XSI.

I'm not very experienced in this area, having touched HLSL myself only for a bit (and what little I know is mainly from working with mental mill) but this was a good reference I found a while back, hope it's of some use:
