hello ..
Here is an ice compund we made it in our studio (AI Production) , and we love to share it with the amzing community .
Just want to gave a creadit to our Ice Developer (MJD Boukhari) who did this compound , and also who did ( AI Apply Thickness ) Compound.

Video about it :

Bugs with animated texture map images. Broke geometry and jumping parts of texture projection

man this is soooo great!! thanks a ton!

MJD Boukhari, with your 3 compounds I finally can paint my own crack maps to simulate in momentum:

nice! :-bd

This compound not design to work with animated Texture map , but we will take a look .
thank .

Haven't tested this yet, but when freezing the object, will it 'keep' the clipped polygons?
This would make it a great modeling tool as well.

Kudos for sharing, and that's an interesting cliffhanger regarding more tools ;)

Yes. All ice modeling operations can be frozen with maintaining the current shape, this also applies to the simulated particle clouds by the way

just checking ;)

thanks for the headsup, this one will also get a place in the 'handy tools' workgroup :)

I experimented with animated texture map has been successful with me ...
I ask you to put me an example of the situation that you encounter ...
Thank you ...

I have seen your example and known cause of the problem ..
Compounds has limits in the vertical lines that match the texture and 3D Object..
The second limit is that you must increase the Subdivision of 3D Object before apply The Compound to get a better result ...
As for the parameter must be at least a value of 10 ...
But to get the best result should be a value of 100 ....
