I am aware of the existence of that phbbb3 modification, that doesn't however mean we can/will implement it. As you are new to this forum, I will repeat the general policy concerning phpbb3 mods one more time:
Owei decided, rightfully so IMHO, a while back not to use any new "phpBB mods" any more for stability's sake

So bots can bump topics when the last poster is not registered. Posting as registered user to avoid that...
Anyway since it's bumped
si-community was meant to become something a shelter for XSI's last refugees, but at the moment it seems more like a memorial. Are there any ideas out there how it could be pushed a bit more into that shelter direction? I guess facebook has taken that role.

I don't think it's quite as bad as that yet...
but I agree I could be a bit more lively...

For me it works perfectly, especially the recources (formerly Rray.de). I avoid Facebook so no idea what happens over there. Keep it up!

Is the "remember me" checkmark set when you login? I think if not if fogets you after 6 minutes being idle.

It could be the cookies. Worth trying. Maybe if you have Firefox it could be the cookie permissions too.

it's so weird, I can only login now from Chrome in "incognito" mode, otherwise it fails to log in. I even tried to reset password with an email and it fails with "invalid entry". I guess something must have changed with cookies or something.

Sorry most likely my fault... At some point I enabled the "secure cookies" option (for SSL) but forgot that the server still accepts non SSL connections. So when you're not using https there might have been issues with cookies.
I switched to the normal cookies now which should work over both http and https

👍let me know in case something similar happens again. I've enabled the twitter direct message button so that should work too if you're not logged in
