Daily post count average per month:
1 - Wednesday 28th of March 127 (SI 2013 announcement, the day after)
2 - Tuesday 27th of March - 113 (SI 2013 announcement)
3 - Wednesday 8th of August - 100 (I can't recall a specific reason)
The year 2012 brought us 497 new members, excluding those accounts already removed as spam accounts.
Two big forum specific innovations (in no particular order):
Incorporation of the Tapatalk plugin (even if hardly anyone ever uses it)
Changing to a search backend that actually works (but this is "under the hood" stuff admittedly).
All in all, not a bad year for the si-community.
Not something to dwell on endlessly (so I am happy to get this post done), but there you have it...
Room for improvement? Definitely, but, as they say "we're slowly but surely getting there".
