No issues on my side. Forum is slow for me, but that could be because of my crappy internet connection (3 mbit atm, should be 100).

It could be the gallery. Is the issue also in the resource section? (where there's no gallery)

I use Chrome too and for a while I thought I was the only one having lag while navigating this site. :D

It might be the theme with the full screen transparent scrolling effect. Can you check if you have hardware accelleration disabled in chrome?

If that doesn't help, I'll create an simpler theme without the alpha scrolling that you can switch to.

I already had hardware acceleration enabled but changing the board style to prosilver eliminated all lag I was experiencing.

Few things for the webmaster:

1. Default design (Classic light), the one that unregistered users and guests see, works horribly slow and makes this site unusable (especially Resources page).
2. Black design is very slow, but at least we can use forum and Resources page.
3. ProSilver is the best one. Forums works great, but «Softimage Resources» page doesn't work at all (HTTP ERROR 500).

Plastix, couldn't reproduce the issue, so I have to guess what it could be. I changed some scrolling settings, did that alredy fix it?

Thanks for the fix. Both «Classic Light» and «Black» designs work great now \:D/

I updated the title of Blender 2.81 soon to just Blender 2.81, in the main window where only the first topic is listed the old title is still on.
