I haven't figure out how to generate mesh automatically with guide curves only yet. Any hints on this topic would be helpful! Like

I have a complex mesh, maybe I should use this tool to re-top, can it handle it, I wonder ?

Damn. Right now, I could just try to install it for 32 bit and if I 'Initialalize' and make a stroke, I receive 3000 error in the script ed, that CnD_NormalizedCurve is missing. (Installed in the user and factory root, separately, both didn't work) Dunno, if it's simply a "32bit doesn't work" thing, since I'm usually on x64...I seem have to watch what you guys are experiencing (jealous!!!) ...til I can step in testing.

Volume filler works without CnD_NormalizedCurve. There is ICE version of it, you can find the compound in the retopo category, but Kang's node tends to crash Softimage way too often so it was replaced with a stack of standard operators

I'm going to give it a try soon, nearing the re-top stage anyhow. What about joining sections, if I re-top the arm, then the torso, then I want to join the two is there an intelligent way that this tool can do this or I have to manually ? I'm leaning towards the manual route
Wondering if the author wants the tool to be speedy or at this stage '
middle of the road' ?

@iamvfx Hmmm...did you mean I should use the ICE compound instead of Kang's addon? Does it just has to be 'installed' or do I have to create a tree for the object to use it? Thanks

i cannot for the life of me get this to work. seems very cool though.
is it just the topo tool addon and the CnD_NormalizedCurve one?
tried it in user install and workgroup. no luck.
look forward to trying it though.

Same here. On 32bits it didn't work, but now I've tried x64 and no matter in which location, Kang's addon can't be found. I guess it might be the specific path to the addon...
