i use extrude along normal and want this without any setting window.

i came frome max and when i extrude a edge i can make it quickly wihout any window setting that opens.

when i work in xsi the window opens again when i use the extrude operation.

any way to fix this ?

As far as ive seen, most things open a dialog box when u apply them in xsi
Windows that open up dont usually bother me so im not sure i can help you but it would be cool to know how disable them...
Maybe someone else knows how?

Try the quick inset plugin from origin. It will speed up your workflow a bunch.
$ifndef "Softimage"
set "Softimage" "true"
$endif

I wouldn't generally reject plugins like that, as they are after all often important extensions
to (missing) functionality and therefore were made for a good reason!

Hirazi Blue, yeah i try to test the plugin but in general i dont like plugins for modeling, i pay many money for the program and expected to have good tools for modeling. i like plugins as extension like fluid simulation exocortex slipstreamvx but for modeling i expected to have good tools inside xsi.

Hey Contac im glad i can help! That post about the last of us almost gave me a heart attack! So beautiful sculpts! There is also that barbarian on zbrush central. I wana go for something like that next time! No i dont de vehicles although maybe i should try

Hey Hirazi Blue i saw quick inset plugin and mesh paint plugin, those are one of the coolest plugins i ever saw!!!! Im definitely gonna give them a shot especially mesh paint coz i usually do those operations manually!!!! Piotrek Marczak's work is amazing!
