Hello all,

This is my old wip/final thread from SoftimageNET

I decided that I create my thread on this new SI site :) Where I show my work. I will give here a new works but also older works which I think are good / suitable for sample. My english is poor, so I am sorry. My fisrt post is set high detailed musical instruments.

Client: www.dvadetride.sk
JOB: create 8 high poly models (Trumpet, Tuba, Euphonium, Tenor Saxophone, Clarinet, Accordion, Fiddle/Violin and Mandoline) to have a secret project (so far)

I use XSI 7.01 (poly modeling) and all create only with photo references find on internet. When everything is ready, I Try some render in MR / XSI. Personal renders. Maybe i try some experimental renders only for fun and teach / improve my skill Picture will be named "MUSICROOM" or "MUSICBOX" (without smooth I mean - no subdivision)

Trumpet
- work about 3 days (without smooth 12 931 triangles )

Fiddle
- work about 4 - 5 days ( without smooth fiddle : 20 274 bow 4 226 triangles)

Euphonium
- work about one day I remake trumpet model ( without smooth 16 069 triangles)

- hard work about 7-8 days ( without smooth 26 759 triangles)

Tuba

Accordion
- work about 3-4 days (without smooth 108 736 triangles ) Some parts dont need smooth ( I choice this option for reduce polycount with use smooth) And model is prepare for rigging, which will be done by dvadetride.sk. Not me.

Mandolin
- work about 2 days ( without smooth 38 595 triangles)

Tenor Saxophone
- and best on END work about 10 - 12 days ( without smooth 57 966 triangles) Hardest model of all set.

Nice to have you here..!

Very good modeling job you´ve done...very good job..! Only the heavy watermark disturbs my eyes ;)

I like all models, they seem to be very tidy as well. I would love to see them textured and a rendering would be great. The saxophone looks really challenging. This is good stuff!
