haha np^^ of course you are correct, those styles can't be married together^^
ideally i would like mine to be slighlty more reallistic style of milanvasek's work

but i would really like to know how to do reallistic renderings like the nsx :-bd

Your renders so far are all out of Softimage?
Or are the cars already out of the game engine? :-\

all in softimage :)
right now for the book part
i want to use softimage only :)

it will be easier to do some stuff there
and i will have more options

there are pros and cons in every solution though

Seems like a wise choice: stick with what you know! ;)

for now its ok i guess

my main problem is that unity has some limitations, that i need some extra work to create a workaround
and i don't have that time, of course i don't want to give up the game thing, but for now i have to pass

also im really satisfied with the progress so far with the renders^^
i want to learn more and more^^

some progress on nsx

here's 2 renders i did using linear workflow :)
the character skin matterial is better

and the car material more accurate in coordination with the hdri used
but to be honest i prefer the old car render so far^^

maybe with a darker hdri i can achieve the same look

Looking good.
Only the headlight on the blue one might need some more work IMHO to be a little more convincing... ;)
