Norse Warlord

Post by Aumakua » 06 Aug 2013, 01:15

Hello all!
That's my latest doodle, a fantasy Norse warlord, done with Softimage, ZBrush, 3DCoat and Photoshop.
I was lucky enough to write a texturing tutorial series about him for 3DCreative magazine :)
For more wip shots and renders, please check my blog, http://www.noisyknuckles.com/blog/?p=609
I hope you like it, thanks for watching!

Lovely.

What could add quite a lot to the image would be a good posing of the character.

Helli, Thank you! Yes, this posing is quite boring, was done into ZBrush. I will give a try with a proper rig in XSI, to give him a decent pose :)
Geoath, thanks mate! he is a fat and "horny" guy - not a nice combination! LOL
Grims, thanks alot! it's going to be presented in 3 tutorials, in respective issues, I don't know how soon yet.
