Post by owei » 10 Nov 2016, 15:17

Hi there!

Here is my lastest small RND project. hope you like it ;)
Still exploring the boundaries of photogrammetry and trying to push limits. Last time I worked on a piece of chopped wood (vimeo.com/146769989). This time I did a study of an even more complex shape of an old and dry root I found.

Specs:
Photographs: 138 Photos 4k Raw against Green Screen
Mesh: 1 406 612 Polygons
Texture: 16000 x 16000 pixel
Photogrammetry Software: Agisoft Photoscan agisoft.com
3D Software: SOFTIMAGE|XSI
Renderer: Redshift 3D redshift3d.com
Music: "Cylinder Five" by Chris Zabriskie chriszabriskie.com
