Ambient Occlusion color bleed?

Hi all, i'm just checking out some maya tutorial to expand my knowledge, and i discovered that is possibile to set the Ambient Occlusion parameter os Mia Architectural to do Color Bleed, so it fake the gi really good..... it's possible to do something similar in xsi?

turn on ambient occlusion in mia material with option "2"

ehm what option i've to set to 2? Maybe Detail Enhancement?

That doesn't do color bleed,

it does light bleed,
and ignores the diffuse color
of the shader X(

This is wierd,

I reloaded the scene and
now it actually works !

hmm what version of xsi are you using ?

There is something strange in 2010 shader's behaviour.
FG prepass look all wrong with AO in material activated.
7.5 works okay...I think it its...
