What's your definition of a studio? (2 employees, 10, 100?) ;)
(And "using Softimage" doesn't necessarily mean, using it as it's main/only software, does it?)

Since a list like this should be most interesting for Softimage users/freelancers looking for jobs, maybe one of the main criterias is: Is it possible to get a job as an Softimage operator at that place.

While my second remark was admittedly slightly lame, I thought the first question truly warranted some kind of serious answer (especially when looking for "studios" missing on said list). ;)

:) I think you got me wrong...it was supposed to be a serious answer.

If you know more studios using softimage please let me know about them. I have put all in there that I know or read about. Would be great to get more in there!

Well, this list belongs to the Dutch Users Group, but I can't vouch for any of them... :D

edit: the links should work now... :ymblushing:

A few studios in western Canada that I know of.

Rainmaker http://www.rainmaker.com/ still uses it on Barbie (though sadly this trend may be ending)

Nerd Corps http://www.nerdcorps.ca/ Uses it almost exclusively

I think PhenomBlue sometimes does:

And I know that ILM uses it...probably along side just about everything else!

As Ilija hasn't visited our community since "25 Jan 2010 22:05", I doubt adding new links to this post will result in him adding them to his list. I could be mistaken though.

No need to apologize: my comment was merely a gentle reminder to UniqueD and yourself that the chances were slim, new info posted in this thread would actually find it's way to Ilija's list. The best approach to achieve that goal would probably be to use the "leave a reply" function on his blog and see what happens...
