softimage question

so, I've been using http://students.autodesk.com/ this version of autodesk for the past few years now as I learn the program.

I bought a student version, thinking it was the same one. sadly, whenever I use THAT version, I Get a pop up saying all my models are for the educational version, not the student version, and it makes it a very annoying working experience.


what version is on the autodesk education site? and is there any place I can buy THAT version in educational form for the 2014 edition?

2015 has too much slow down and error for me...so i'd like to stick with 2014 just in case the link on the educational site dissapears one day. I'd like a hard copy to continue using it.

the free student license doesn't have display the save nag screen, but it's a temp 3 years license. The code is the same, it's the license that's different.

not sure why you would think that you could buy another student license anyway. Not only because we're months past the end-of-sales of softimage, but also because they ended sales of perpetual licenses in general.

I was hoping some site online still had it somewhere..but i guess i waited too long to ask anyway.

oh well..sigh..
