Just was wondering, what are your guys' approaches to creating symmetrical blendshapes in XSI? I know about the Shape tools plugin, but it doesn't seem to have a function that abSymMesh has which I find insanely useful: that of being able to revert only selected components back to the base shape, along with auto selecting components that have been modified from the base geometry. It's insanely useful when working with sculpting blendshapes and needing to tweak only specific components.
Here's the link to the Maya script for reference: http://www.supercrumbly.com/3d.php?sid=112
Any riggers who would be willing to offer some insight as to their workflows and workarounds on this issue, I'd be very grateful for any advice you could offer. Thanks!
abSymMesh equivalent for XSI? (Working with blendshapes)

Its worth installing GEAR, even if you're not creating actual rigs with it the shape, weightmap and envelope menu options are all life-savers! Can sym, revert, etc.

Huh, I completely forgot about that. Going to have a look through the Deform menumattmos wrote:Its worth installing GEAR, even if you're not creating actual rigs with it the shape, weightmap and envelope menu options are all life-savers! Can sym, revert, etc.

Also, thanks for the link about the stFlip_Shape ICE compound, definitely another useful tool for this!
