There has been a slight change concerning Composite & Matchmover.

Would.. be awesome to have... SI as an addon for Maya, free for download post April 2016, just let it sit there with a new EULA - like these ones. Would make.. Maya that much more popular!!! ;)

They have said they don't want people using Softimage, that is why no new sales, so free would be even worse. all people must be using maya, that is the goal.

Composite & Matchmover have become available for "free" (don't know about the license yet) at the Autodesk Exchange website. You'll have to register/log in to get them apparently
