I agree that that time has come: thinking about ways to keep 3rd party developers active in ways that truly help the user base, motivating them to make it worthwhile for the devs, would seem a good start for a separate thread, if you are willing to open one.

Sorry to hear sales are not stellar for your plugins, I think you have some really nice looking tools. I picked up Forester, I wasn't ready to purchase only because I just got a new computer and because it is my busy season I am using it as part of the render farm, but it will eventually be my main computer, long story short, I need to get a usb-k-bob thing to float the license, however, I thought it was important to support your efforts. Looking forward to this as well.
