Thanks for the coffee, but mainly it was because the exchange went down for most of the day. I think its funny, I did tell the exchange dude, that we do training for the "mod tool", so if they get it back up quick then he can download them.

It really seemed (as i'm working again and typing here ) to motivate him :)

Well we do run tests... and you can now too....

There are so many videos, i'd like you to test them and see if they work..

if there is a problem or its the wrong video, write here, and please... be specific.

The user name is ... server
The pass is .... online

Note the downloads are NOT up yet, i just need lots of hands to test the hundreds of videos.

Cheers
Terry

Note this user/pass will be taken away in the final version

Cheers,
Well thanks for your comments, specifically about the pain (pity no weightlifter icon..)

But thru it, i got to learn some PHP, Mqsql, sql, linux, python, flash, video formats and how to convert them. So you could say I did get something from it too. But then i'd have to hit you :))

Now all you have to do is "learn" each and every tut up there, that should keep you out of trouble for a while :D

Cheers
Terry

PS. You dont need to PM me, you can happily post the mistakes here,

Looks great, but I can't seem to view any of the online videos in Internet Explorer 7 under Windows XP, i'm not sure what the problem is there as I have all updates for it.
Also, I didn't see the Pixel Corp training or maybe I overlooked it, it would be cool to get that up there too if possible, nevertheless it looks like it's starting to take shape and I look forward to the official grand opening. :-bd

Hi,

On the webmaster forum everyone complains about IE, as all these little updates make developing for it now a real pain, you never know what ver or updates people have. Either way I'll look into it. But at this moment FF is the best option to choose if you XP'ing it.

Pixel Corp were on the list to put up, but permissions are not yet given, so we cant legally show them, see http://www.letterboxanimationstudios.co ... /index.php

Hi Terry!

First of all... great work!

1. "D", "O", "W": The links to "Online" and "Write" works fine (the linkage in the status bar for "O" = http://www.redi-vivus.com/Online/index.php; "W"= http://www.redi-vivus.com/Written/index.php); the link to "Download" will open the "Start-Page" (the linkage in the status bar for "D" = http://www.redi-vivus.com/index.php); if I enter the adress http://www.redi-vivus.com/Download/index.php manually, I get the same content like the Start-Page (http://www.redi-vivus.com/).

2. Unable to play an Online Video: When I press a button to start a video, nothing happens; therefor in the status bar I get the message "Failure on the site"; when I enter a Tutorial Page manually, e.g. http://www.redi-vivus.com/Online/Certif ... rial_1.php, it will works fine
I try it with Vista (IE7) and Windows 7 (IE8).

Bye

Ok I'll look at the IE stuff after my day off, yes download just takes you back to the start page... I had to make it go somewhere for now :-)

As I say I want to ensure that it all works for everyone, no matter what browser, location, or bandwidth, and that's a HUGE challenge, more so with IE, as all these "vista update patches" makes somethings that did work not, and vice versa. Webmaster forums now hate IE as you cant guarantee who has what installed. And an FYI about 90% use FF on redi, which DOES work. Microsoft need to get on the ball here.

As for rushing to get the downloads, really I am in no HUGE rush, as all the content is now online anyway, and people take a while to check the site out too... but it will get done soon.. but remember I do actually have a actual job to do to as well :-)

PS thanks for the excellent update.

Cheers
Terry
