Kinemocap Kinect plugin released

Dominici Marco recently released a Motion Capture plugin for Softimage based on the Microsoft Kinect technology, available at

Price is €99 for a standalone license. Kinect device required, but no XBox 360 required.

yeah,

I saw that as well.
But was wondering how clean the data will be, and how easily you can rig something up with the data.

Interesting hack though, poor mans mocap :)

Interesting...
The website is a mess though.
I can't - for instance - find, which version of "Softimage|XSI" is a minimal requirement.
Could be that it's mentioned in the video, but such things should be in writing on the website IMHO,
especially if you're attempting to commercialize your product...

(If I'm just missing something: I blame it on a severe lack of coffee... ~o) :- )

agree about the site, anyway at NEWS section on the site is stated:
"05.11.2011 - We are fixing some problems on XSI 7,5 version. At the moment Kinemocap works only on Softimage XSI 2011. "

I contacted them yesterday about compatibility with 2010 and they said it works fine.

Has anyone used this yet?
