Yeah, I was watching and surprised to see a seat from the old Montreal Forum (that's the red one with the logo of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team for those who are not familiar). I was thinking -- how did that get to the Digital Domain offices when I realized it was Digital Dimension (who are based in Montreal).

I know! - is this an alarming new trend or a guilty conscience for being utter shite for the last 2 years? :))

And the Passion Pictures amazing piece for BBC - I very much doubt any Olympic material will get to be shown anywhere other than where LOCOG deign fit. ie if 'Autodesk' did not sponsor LOCOG, then it ain't going to happen. I did see the full , long version posted here recently though https://vimeo.com/46441341 fantastic stuff.

was it? The one with Mario Ucci and Passion Pictures? we were not allowed to see that making of at the SiC user meeting because of the already mentioned LOCOG rules & conditions.

good luck trying to find it again on The Area ;)

About the Passion Pictures Olympic work:
The campaign is designed to be used across all the BBC's television, radio and digital Olympic content and it features specially commissioned music by Elbow. As well as the 1 x 60 sec trailer there is a 2' 40" film which we will be able to show on Passion's website on 27th July, the opening night of the Games.

This was one thing I wanted to point out, whilst not trying to pop anyone's balloons here, that one of the main reasons these videos were done, was because they focus on Suites and I've said many times before that Suites are very much a focus for Autodesk and it's marketing. That doesn't mean they will ignore literally everything else, but they will certainly be looking to highlight Suites usage as much as possible.

As for Passions work for the BBC Olympic coverage, (AFAIK), we didn't know anything about it until quite late and even then the BBC had blocked anyone from showing it until the spot aired. I would like to point out though, that we can't just create customer stories in 5mins and throw them up on the area. We have to approach the relevant studio and seek permission from them and also their client as well. This takes time, which is why things appear slow.
But I have said many times, we have specific people to deal with this type of thing, so I push as much stuff to them as I possibly can. Some things happen, others don't, for all manner of reasons.
