Has anyone experienced any progress with this?

I am at a good, 'inbetween projects' stage at the moment, where I could upgrade all my software to the latest versions!

I have raised a support ticket with Autodesk regarding the issue of 'Maya (2016 Ext 2) with Softimage' access and also whether the new installer, should we get one, will work with Windows 10!

I just have this feeling that 'support cases', especially Softimage related ones, end up in a 'virtual' room a bit like the one the Ark of the Covenant is stored in at the end of the original India Jones film!

Not heard anything yet about the support case. But from the thread eben pointed to:
It's not available yet. They are working on setting this up.
So "they" have been bumped twice already, gives hope something might happen soon

Has anyone of you mentioned this state of affairs on the Mailing List already?
Might be useful to raise this topic there as well...
;)

I do not post on the mailing list, but I do read there a lot. However, I did just check my Autodesk Application Manager and there still is no update for Maya Ext. 2... I am going to give it a couple more days to see if it irons out, but if nothing new changes then I will contact Autodesk directly.

Got a download link from support, installed it .. runs (after some hickups) .. fine now

Seems to be the fastest route right now for everyone on a Maya with Softimage license

HB I seem to be a little intimidated by the MList, I'm usually trying other options first :ymblushing:

Someone told me the download should be available, since late afternoon today, for "Maya with Softimage" customers.

What are you seeing in your downloads?

All I can see is 'Maya with Softimage 2016' which is what's been there for ages! No mention of 2016.5 or Extension 2!

Yup, I got mine today too. They told me that they are investing why it is not showing via the Autodesk Application Manager, but it is available in your account now, or at least should be.
