Are you speaking about Fabric inside Softimage? If so, no you don't have a top view of the Canvas node as Softimage works differently than other DCC's like Maya and Modo (not speaking about ICE btw). In Maya you open the Node Editor and can see the top level Canvas node. It may or may not have connections in and out of it. I'm not sure about Modo as I haven't used it but I'm suspecting the same / similar.

In Softimage, Canvas / Splice is implemented as Operators so this is why the interface is different.
Canvas standalone (FE Canvas in my words) , my XSI 7.01 is too old for FE. Not some problem at moment, just been curious is it possible, mainly in Maya or Modo. All in all, it seems it's possible in both, I think.

One of the new high-level presets that you can play with. This time we're looking at the smooooooth operator ;)

You'll need the latest daily build to get hold of these - follow the instructions here: http://forums.fabricengine.com/discussi ... etc#latest

Eric Mootz presents an overview of the new geometry attributes nodes for getting, setting and modifying attributes. We also cover how to display attributes in the viewport to aid with visual debugging.
