Diff. Geometry Approximation to just a part of a model?

Post by Bullit » 12 Jan 2014, 00:44

Is there a way to have the discontinuity angle at default 60 for a part of a model and 0 for another part?

I don't believe so.

If it's merely a "yes/no" affair: couldn't you just use hard edges/crease values?

Thanks. This is an imported model and the edges are messed up, i can have it all faceted or all mushy. It seems i'll have to increase definition in some parts.

In the end a set component user normal to polygon fixed most of issues.
