snapping points at 0 AXYS

Post by hidalgo » 15 Feb 2014, 17:13

Hey guys,

seems crazy, but i can't find a way to snap a bounch of points all, for example to the 0 point on the x axys, i can do it for one single point, but if i grab them all and type in the transform 0 they dont go to 0, but move proportionally to theyre original position, i have search for the same stupid little thingy everywhere, but i couldnt find anything about it.
thank you

Not 100% sure (and I can't check ATM), but it sounds as if you'd have to enable "Collapse Points For Snapping/Absolute Translation" in the "Preferences > Tool Preferences > Transform Preferences".
Stay safe, sane & healthy!

thanks Hirazi, actually that trick was not working i tried, but for anybody like me who have found himself on the same problem, its enough to select the point go to scale set it to global and un thick COG then in the scale value (for example x) type 0 and voila' the points are all at zero.

If you scale them to 0 in that axis it will work
