Hello,
I would like to import vertex color information of a scanned mesh ( http://cubify.com/Products/Sense ) . When I import the mesh as .3ds, almost every single face has a material (3000 different materials, softimage do not like so many materials). I would like to know if there is a workflow to import objects with their vertex color, then convert vertex color to a texture (rendermap ?).
