Here is a terrain from a grid with a push deformer based on a 16bit tiff height map that is based on real world elevation data.
Interesting that SI handled 10m triangles mesh, scene took like 14gigs of ram and every change in the push deformer magnitude required like 30 secs of proccess freeze took even more for some reason. Then it was eazy to scale Y much faster.
