Did that and observed:
nothing.

You might need to orbit the camera a bit:

Notice the "two" highlights on the right sphere? Reflections are off by the way.
In some occasions it can lead to problems like this:

I sincerely doubt, if this bug will ever get fixed as the accompanying "workaround"
has already found its way into the official documentation long ago also:
Important
If you are not using anisotropic reflections, type "None" into the Transparency/Reflection > Anisotrophy > Texture Space selection box to avoid artifacts in the render.

Yeah, it´s not really a big thing, but it´s been around for some time now, and those glitches tend to "team up" eventually and make a software less fun to use.

Again, I vote for less new stuff and more cleanup. :ympray:

still didnt have a chance to test SP1 but i've read the huge amount of fixes and i'm pretty excited.
