Anyone knows how can I ad my own shader presets to the Shaders Preset Manager?
I can only save it to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Softimage 2012 SP1\Data\DSPresets\Materials not Users

Re: Adding materials to the Preset Manager?
Sorry, I missed this earlier...
As far as I can tell, you shouldn't save the preset, but export the selected branch in your render tree by right-clicking on the branch and choosing "export selected". Now you're prompted to save it as an *.xsishaders file, where you can specify a name shown in the preset manager, a category, a file name and can save it... Now it should, after refreshing the Preset Manager" show up there...

Stay safe, sane & healthy!
Re: Adding materials to the Preset Manager?
just to clarify: The Material folder on disk is not for shader presets, it's for material presets. Presets saved from the material in the scene explorer, not from the render tree. In the render tree, you see shader presets on the left, not Material presets.
