Crash Backup

Hi,

Spent 6 hours working on a character model and i go to save the scene softimage crashes... Well usualy when it crashes like that there is a "crash dump file" thats created and the next time softimage starts up it gives you the option to restore well this time it did not. So am i just shit out of luck or is there some magical command i can use to bring back that data?

You are probably out of luck, I'm afraid, but you could check the hidden "system" folder in your Project's directory, as it should/could contain a subfolder called something like "CrashBackup", which is easily overlooked as the "system" folder is hidden to begin with.. ;) .
