Shorcut for selecting points using rectangle raycast?

Post by grendizer » 18 Apr 2010, 12:46

Hi all at Si Community
There's a question that bugs me since long. The most handy way to select points is with the rectangular raycast tool.
But to have this selection mode you need to press T then SHIFT+F10. not very quick and handy.
Is there anyway to put all these commands in one single keyboard shortcut?
Thanks
Gz

you can turn on Raycast in shaded mode in preferences-tools-selection

or

open script editor and paste this line Application.ActivateVertexSelTool(6)
then drag&drop this line onto toolbar. In the popup window select script command. Give it some name.
Then you can assign a key to this command (keyboard mapping->custom scripts commands->your command name)
